Green Party councillor, Deirdre de Burca, has welcomed an Bord Pleanala’s announcement of a date for the reopening of the Oral Hearing into the controversial development for Greystones Harbour and North Beach.

“The dates for the reopened oral hearing are the 29th and 30th March in the Royal Hotel Bray” says de Burca. “This will give those objecting to the proposed development of the Harbour an opportunity to outline their concerns about the recent information submitted to an Bord Pleanala by Wicklow County Council and Sispar”.

The Green Party councillor says that local residents have many outstanding concerns about the proposed development of the harbour which Wicklow County Council and Sispar did not deal with. She has called on as many Greystones residents as possible and others to attend the re-opened oral hearing in the Royal Hotel to show their opposition to the proposed harbour development.
