• Wicklow Co. Council meets the first two Mondays of each month from 2.00 - 5.00 p.m. in the County Buildings.

• Bray Town Council’s meets the first two Tuesdays of each month from 7.30 - 10.00 p.m. upstairs in the Town Hall.

• Greystones Town Commissioners meet the last Tuesday of each month from 7.30 - 9.30 p.m. at the Civic Offices.

• We would recommend that residents do attend these meetings to observe their elected representatives, especially when important issues in the town relating to them are being discussed. Members cannot speak but only observe.

• That copies of the Minutes of Council’s Meetings are available to any member of the public at the Council Civic Offices. These Minutes provide an accurate record of decisions made by your local Councillors and Officials. They are also available online at Wicklow Co. Council's Website.

• That all Councillors on Bray Town Council are paid an annual taxable Salary of €7,900 plus €2,000 non-taxable Expenses. Councillors who are also members of Wicklow Co. Council receive an annual taxable salary of €14,000 but must forfeit the salary from Bray Town Council. They do however receive €2,000 non-taxable Expenses from Bray Town Council and €6,000 non-taxable Expenses from Wicklow Co. Council.

• That the role of an elected Councillor is broadly speaking to represent the public interest and mediate between the public and the Officials (i.e. Town Clerk, Director of Services and the County Manager).
